If so, we would love to hear from them!
Following a challenging but extremely encouraging development season, the Notts FA is looking to add new players to it’s squad to represent the East Midlands in the National Cerebral Palsy Football structure for the 2011-12 season.
The squad represents an opportunity for 16+ (MALE adult) players in the region who have CP (and/or an Acquired Brain injury) to play and train at a high level with the chance to work their way through the player pathway (illustrated below) on to potential international recognition:
East Midlands Regional > Elite Squad > England Development Squad > England Senior Squad / GB Paralympic Squad
We currently have two training dates left for the present season:
We would be delighted to offer anyone who is interested the chance to come and take part in these sessions as a taster of what is on offer to them.
Contact regarding the squads can be made via:
The 2011-12 season will also see the addition of an Under 16 team – so we are also looking for any (MALE) players with CP between the ages of 13 and 16 to form the basis of this squad which will provide players for our future 16+ squads. Again please contact Kev Sanders if you are interested or know of anyone that maybe interested in this opportunity.
