Free EHC Plan Workshops

The national charity for families with disabled children is hosting two free upcoming workshops for parents of children and young people who have, or are in the process of getting, an EHC plan.

Both take place on Wednesdays from 10:15am to 12:30pm at Shoosmiths Solicitors at Waterfront House, 35 Station St, Nottingham NG2 3DQ in Nottingham’s City Centre and are run by a qualified solicitor.

The workshops are:

• May 2nd – Tribunals
Provides an overview of the appeals process, discussing when an appeal is appropriate and explaining how to make the initial application and use experts as witnesses.

• June 20th –Challenging Decisions
Explores the most effective ways of challenging decisions you disagree with in relation to EHC plans and annual reviews, and looks at how each section of the plan can be challenged and enforced.
